Sealing elements with dynamic and static strain relief

The 2-component combination sealing elements consisting of an elastic seal and robust strain relief enable flexible cable entry for prefabricated and non-prefabricated cables with IP66 protection. The two-part sealing element, whose half-shells can be easily opened and closed with a snap lock, guarantees the installation-friendly and precisely fitting sheathing of the cables. For installation, the combination sealing elements are pressed into the openings of the previously attached inlays of the KDS cable entry systems from the inside out.

The special design of the sealing elements enables compliance with the specified tensile forces for retention capacity and strain relief for non-armored cables and wires in version A of the DIN EN 62444:2014-05 standard (cable glands for electrical installations) 

Due to their enlarged sealing range, they currently cover cable diameters from 1 mm to 9 mm and therefore simplify storage requirements.
