KDS-R Round cable glands
Overcoming the frame divide: round solutions for your requirements. The KDS-R round cable glands for metric knockouts from M20 to M63 have been designed for cables with and without connectors. In the case of maintenance or retrofitting with ready-made cable harnesses, cables with diameters from 2 mm to 35 mm can be quickly and safely inserted into control cabinets or housings and sealed to IP66. The modular system ensures simple and fast installation in three steps. Here, too, slotted, tapered sealing elements with a wave cut ensure a secure seal and absolute tight fit. After the cables have been fed through the cable gland, they are placed around the cables and then pressed into the round cable gland. Then the divisible threaded and locking adapter is simply screwed to the round frame on the outside of the control cabinet. The separable locknut, which is then mounted on the locking element on the inside, ensures a secure and firm hold. The system can be used for wall thicknesses up to 6 mm.
